Improve the air drying oven temperature uniformity of the important characteristics

In recent years, there are more and more orders for the drying oven at 400 degrees. The drying oven below 400 degrees produced in the past, although its "temperature uniformity" index can also meet the standard requirements, is always more critical and may exceed the standard if it is not careful. Recently, we have adopted a series of improvement measures for the drying oven above 400 degrees, which has greatly improved the "temperature uniformity". The industry standard stipulates that the temperature uniformity index of the product is plus or minus 2.5% of the maximum temperature, and the improved index is basically kept around plus or minus 1.5, which makes the index have a great improvement. We mainly adopted the following measures:

1. Improve the air distribution structure of the drying oven:
Drying oven "temperature uniformity" index, mainly depends on the air distribution structure. The drying box usually adopts a single air duct structure to organize the air flow, which is mainly from the centrifugal fan system. In this structure, the design of the centrifugal machine housing and the design of the guide plate is the key to determine the index. So we first redesigned the volute in strict accordance with Archimedes' spiral principle. So that the volute outlet air can be evenly blowing through the heater, ensure that the air supply is uniform. In addition, we also made corresponding improvements to the air outlet and return air outlet of the guide plate, increasing the air volume of the return air outlet as much as possible, and at the same time increasing the wind pressure and speed of the outlet. So that the air flow can be evenly circulating in the working room.

2. Determine the best position of the heater:
Whether the heat emitted by the heater can be evenly brought into the working chamber by airflow is the key to ensure the temperature uniformity of the chamber. Therefore, it is very important to determine the best position of the heater. After repeated tests, we finally determined the ideal position of the heater, thus effectively improving the technical indicators in the box.

3. Improved sample shelf:
Single-duct air flow structure means that the air flow must pass through the sample shelf, the general drying oven has at least two layers of shelf, special requirements and even more. In the past shelf is the use of plate punching, bending processing. However, in order to ensure its strength, the shelf diameter density is unlikely to be too large, which leads to the flow cycle resistance is too large, from the surface affect the temperature uniformity. We changed the shelf into steel wire structure, which solved the problem well.

4. Improve the locking device of the gate:
Due to the high temperature, the material of the drying oven of 400 degrees and above will deform greatly when heated. In the past, the door of the high-temperature drying box was locked by a single point, but at a high temperature of over 400 degrees, the deformation of the door caused the door and the box to be loosely sealed, resulting in the heat leakage of the door, the box working chamber near the outside of the door on the low temperature, affecting the uniformity of the box index. We solved the problem by changing the gate to double lock. Through the improvement of the "temperature uniformity" index of the drying oven at 400 degrees and above, we gained a lot of enlightenment and accumulated some experience. I believe this will have a certain effect on the modification of our future desiccant design.
